Automatic Tool Setter
- Equipped with a high-precision contact tool setter, the system measure the tool length with micron-level accuracy and automatically executes tool length compensation. Characterized by precise detection, stable signal transmission, and rapid response, this system significantly enhances both machining accuracy and production efficiency.
- The automatic tool setter is conveniently integrated on the left side of the spindle's sheet metal guard. This strategic placement ensures easy access without occupying the effective machining area of the worktable, effectively eliminating the risk of physical interference with the workpiece or the spindle during operation. This design allows operators to perform tool calibration immediately after a tool change without additional setup, ensuring a smoother and safer workflow.
- To operate, simply place the tool setter beneath the tool and initiate the program with a single touch. The Z-axis then automatically executes the entire sequence: downward movement, contact detection, data acquisition, value compensation, and automatic retraction. By eliminating manual measurements and data entry, this automated process is significantly faster and more consistent than traditional manual methods—drastically reducing tool-change downtime and simplifying the operational steps for the user.
