How Does The Solid Wood Turning And Milling Composite Machining Center Work?

  • More carving spindles: Usually the machine only has one carving spindle, you can choose more spindles (up to four) to cope with more complex workpieces, such as: finishing processes that requires multiple carving, milling, and punching tools.

  • Saw blades: 230 mm multi-piece V-shaped saw blades can be used for wood cutting and rough processing, and can also be used for milling and processing some special-shaped workpieces. Compared with turning tools, the sawing efficiency is greatly improved, and the cutting surface is smooth and flat.

  • Sanding wheel: Sandpaper is mounted on the wheel in the form of a sheet, and the rotation of the wheel drives the sandpaper to fling for sanding, which can polish various surfaces.

  • Sanding belt:It has a triangular conveyor belt device with sandpaper on it. The sandpaper is not completely taut. When sanding is required, the conveyor belt contacts the workpiece and maintains a certain downward pressure, which enables the sandpaper on the conveyor belt to fit the curved surface of the workpiece to the greatest extent, so it is generally used to grind cylindrical surfaces processed by milling cutters.

  • Sanding roller: The sanding roller is a rotatable roller covered with sandpaper. Since the contact area between the roller and the workpiece is relatively small, it is suitable for sanding flat surfaces.

  • Five-axis linkage: This function is particularly important if you need to drill an oblique hole, or if you need to carve or slot on an inclined surface, etc., which require the main shaft to rotate an angle to complete the process.

  • Automatic tool change spindle: If the four engraving tools still cannot meet the requirements of your design drawings, it is recommended to select this function to replace more engraving tools. Usually 6-8 tools can be selected for automatic change.

  • I've had this 4-in-1 lathe for about a month now. There's a bit of a learning curve if you're new to CNC, but wow, what a machine!
