Using a 7-In-1 CNC Wood Lathe to Plane,Mill and Drill Curved Table Legs
- May 23, 2025
This video demonstrates the complete process of machining an irregular-shaped table leg using the 7-in-1 CNC wood lathe (CK-1530-7T). First, the machine's automatic feeding device precisely transports the wood to the center of the lathe and secures it. Then, the 7.5KW planing tool shapes the wood, quickly processing a preset form that includes one flat surface and a curved surface with a specified curvature. Next, it switches to the 6KW multi-function spindle (equipped with a ball-end milling cutter) to mill a smooth shallow groove on the freshly planed flat surface. Finally, it switches to another multi-function spindle fitted with a milling cutter to complete holes at multiple designated positions for connecting with other components. After machining, the lathe center releases the workpiece, while the unloading cylinder pops it downward to assist in removal. The entire process requires only one clamping, with no manual tool changes needed midway, combining speed and precision to achieve full automation.
