This Spire 5x10ft ATC CNC Router Left Our US Customer in Disbelief

This CNC router was purchased in January 2026 by a customer from the United States. It is a 5 × 10 ft (1500 × 3000 mm) Spire Series woodworking CNC router, model CK-1530-RSP-TA.
The customer owns a 42,000-square-foot tool workshop in South Carolina and primarily purchased this woodworking CNC router for manufacturing hall tables, wooden boxes and cases, stamps, wooden signs, and other wood products.
After receiving the machine, the customer was genuinely surprised that such a well-built piece of equipment cost only $15,000. In terms of overall quality, assembly workmanship, and industrial design, it far exceeded his expectations for a machine in this price range. He even remarked:
"Come on, where am I going to find something better than this for three times this money?"
In terms of standard specifications, this CNC router features a 5 × 10 ft 6-zone vacuum table, a 9 kW (12 HP) ATC spindle that supports ISO30 tool holders, and a linear automatic tool changer capable of holding up to 12 tools. It also comes standard with an automatic tool setter, allowing convenient tool length measurement and automatic tool length compensation.
One detail that particularly impressed the customer was the practical tool holder bracket mounted on the side of the machine. During tool changes, this bracket securely holds the tool holder in place, making tool installation and removal significantly easier and more convenient. This thoughtful design reflects the machine's strong focus on real-world usability and operator experience.
In addition, retractable locating pins are included as a standard feature on this machine. These locating pins help operators quickly position sheets during loading, improving setup efficiency and reducing manual adjustment time.
From an automation standpoint, the CK-1530-RSP-TA comes standard with an automatic loading and unloading system, enabling true automated batch production.
The workflow is straightforward: the operator simply stacks multiple sheets neatly on the loading platform. The vacuum lifting system mounted on the gantry automatically picks up the top sheet and transfers it onto the vacuum worktable. The machine then automatically aligns the sheet, activates vacuum clamping, and begins machining.
Once processing is complete, the machine automatically pushes the finished parts onto the unloading platform at the front while simultaneously loading the next sheet into the machining area and starting the next production cycle.
This means that whether the machine processes 10, 20, or 30 sheets consecutively, the operator only needs to stand near the unloading platform and remove the finished parts. This greatly reduces labor involvement while significantly improving productivity.
If the factory is already equipped with downstream automated production lines or palletizing robots, the unloading platform can be directly integrated with those systems to achieve an even higher level of automation. In such a setup, operators may only need to monitor machine operation while the entire production process runs automatically.
Beyond its powerful machining capabilities, the customer was equally impressed by the machine's appearance. He stated that it is one of the best-looking Chinese-made CNC machines he has ever seen.
In fact, the CK-1530-RSP-TA belongs to CATEKCNC's premium Spire Series. This product line is built around a completely redesigned industrial appearance, high-quality core components, strict assembly standards, and a comprehensive after-sales support system. It is specifically designed for customers who demand a superior machining experience and uncompromising quality.
In the U.S. market, an automatic tool-changing woodworking CNC router with a similar configuration typically sells for around $70,000. However, even at several times the price, competing machines may not match the assembly quality, attention to detail, or core component specifications offered by the Spire Series.
From component sourcing and machine assembly to final inspection and quality control, the Spire Series consistently adheres to the highest standards. Its mission is to represent the very best of Chinese manufacturing in the woodworking CNC router industry while providing customers worldwide with more competitive, high-end machining solutions.
