Automatic Tool Setter
- The Spire 1325 CNC Router is equipped with a high-precision, contact-type automatic tool sensor crafted from pure copper. The premium copper housing ensures superior conductivity and exceptional signal responsiveness, allowing the system to capture the precise instant of tool contact. This guarantees high consistency and repeatability in tool length measurements, ensuring every cut is accurate.
- For daily storage, the sensor is housed in a dedicated sheet-metal protective dock on the left side of the spindle, making it easily accessible without obstructing the machining area. During operation, the user simply places it beneath the tool tip and initiates the process via the control system. The machine then automatically measures the tool length and generates the necessary compensation—a fully automated process that eliminates human measurement errors at the source.
- In scenarios involving multiple tool changes or complex machining sequences, the sensor automatically identifies length differences across various tools and performs real-time compensation to ensure a unified coordinate datum. With its rapid response and high precision, this tool sensor significantly boosts tool-change efficiency and shortens setup cycles while maintaining strict dimensional consistency across workpieces—providing a reliable foundation for continuous, high-efficiency batch production.
