Been using this machine daily in Mombasa for leather crafting, shoe lining patterns, and dense fabric cutting. The red dot positioning and motorized pass-through bed make setting up long material rolls very convenient.

Quick tip for other African buyers: always keep your air assist compressor running high when cutting leather or dark wood to prevent lens fogging and edge charring. Once you maintain optics cleanliness, the laser tube power stays consistent month after month. Very pleased with the overall performance.

The standard 1325 CO2 laser cutter was a bit too small for us, so we went with a custom size. CATEKCNC made it according to our requirements and it turned out well. Communication with CATEKCNC was easy and they helped us get the configuration we needed. The machine arrived well packed and was not difficult to set up. We’ve been using it for a while now and everything is working fine. In addition to that, we also bought a wood lathe. We mainly use it for making table legs and different wooden parts, and having turning, carving and sanding in the same machine is very convenient. It also doesn’t take up too much extra space in the workshop.

Cutting intricate puzzle pieces takes a lot of time, but with this setup, we can cut two separate sheets at the exact same time. It literally cuts our production time in half compared to our old single-head machine.
